Here you will find information on additional tasks required to finish the translation/review process

Quality Assurance

After reviewing the document(s) once, a QA-run should be performed in order to find

• extra spaces at the end of segments
• wrong/missing numbers
• wrong/missing tags
• inconsistent translation

Check settings

•  Check that the QA-setting is set to PRODOC QA review
  

Perform QA run

• Open the document/view you have reviewed
• Under Review → Quality Assurance → click on Run QA


The Run QA window opens:

• Check Active document and click OK



The QA run will mark all segments that do not comply with the current QA settings

Check segments marked with a warning by the QA run

Adjust GoToNext settings

• activate Unsupressed Unsuppressed warnings and Only unlocked rows



• Check each segment and rectify/ignore errors and warnings.

If you are sure that the warning can be ignored:

• Check the Ignore checkbox
  

Terminology check (optional)

Preparation

If you were instructed by us to perform a terminology check

• activate the QA-setting PRODOC QA - only terminology under Project home → Settings → QA settings


• Under Review → Quality Assurance → click on Run QA


This will mark all segments where a required translations of a term of the customer_check termbase has not been used.

Check segments marked with a warning by the QA run

• activate Unsupressed Unsuppressed warnings and Only unlocked rows


• Check each segment and enter the correct term

If it was a false warning (may occur when similar expressions are contained in the source text, e.g. Taster is in the termbase and Taste is in the text)

• Check the Ignore checkbox
  

Spellcheck (optional)

If you find many spelling mistakes, you can perform an additional QA run with the spellcheck option.

• activate the QA setting PRODOC QA - only spellcheck (under Project home → QA settings)
  

• Under Review → Quality Assurance → click on Run QA


Check segments marked with a warning by the QA run

• activate Unsupressed Unsuppressed warnings and Only unlocked rows



• Check each segment and correct the spelling

Close file/view - delete view

NO documents are deleted when a view is removed, only the view itself is deleted. 

Finish the translation/review job

• Press Deliver/Return button to either deliver your job or (if you did a review job) return it to the translator if you have pending questions.
